Build Confidence Supporting Perinatal and Fertility Clients

Many therapists find themselves supporting clients through pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, or fertility treatments without much formal training in perinatal mental health.

These experiences can bring complex clinical questions. Therapists often wonder:

    • Is this postpartum depression or normal adjustment?

    • How should I respond to intrusive thoughts after birth?

    • How do I support someone going through IVF?

    • What is helpful when a client becomes pregnant after infertility or loss?

My consultation groups provide a small, supportive space for therapists to deepen their clinical skills while receiving guidance on real cases.

    • infertility and fertility treatments

    • reproductive trauma and loss

    • anxiety related to pregnancy or parenthood

Each group is limited to 4–6 clinicians to allow time for meaningful case consultation and discussion.

    Consultation sessions include:

    • case consultation

    • clinical frameworks for reproductive mental health

    • assessment and screening guidance

    • strategies for supporting complex cases

Fertility and Reproductive Mental Health Consultation Group

Many therapists want to support clients experiencing infertility but feel unsure how to navigate the emotional and medical complexities of fertility treatment.

This consultation group focuses on clinical work with clients experiencing:

    • infertility and fertility struggles

    • IVF and other fertility treatments

    • pregnancy after infertility

    • reproductive loss and grief

    • chronic uncertainty during fertility journeys

    • relationship stress related to infertility

Therapists will gain a deeper understanding of the emotional impact of fertility treatment and practical ways to support clients through this process.

Who These Consultation Groups Are For

    These groups are designed for:

    Consultation Group Format

Groups meet online and are structured to provide both clinical learning and case consultation.

    Typical session format:

    1. Brief teaching topic related to reproductive mental health

    2. Case consultation from group members

    3. Discussion and clinical questions

Groups meet monthly or every other week and are intentionally kept small to allow every clinician the opportunity to participate.
